PHS Electronic Solutions are a big name in UK PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly. Their reputation for quality and precision was clear, but their old website wasn’t doing them justice. Outdated visuals, clunky navigation and a lack of modern branding meant their online presence was lagging behind the business itself.
They came to us for a digital refresh that would match the professionalism they put into every project, and we set out to give them a site that was as sharp and precise as the boards they built. That meant a full redesign, with clean navigation and a layout that worked just as well on mobile as it did on desktop. We also made speed a priority – nobody likes waiting around for a site to load, least of all PHS’s tech-savvy audience.
Branding was just as important as the website itself, so we developed a set of guidelines that gave PHS a clear and consistent identity. To tie it all together, we designed a set of custom icons with their corners sliced off to mimic the shape of a circuit board. It’s a small detail, but those subtle touches go a long way in reinforcing what a business is about.
Because static words and pictures can only say so much, we also wove in video content across the website to show PHS’s expertise in action.
The result is a modern, fast and professional online presence that finally reflects the business behind it. PHS were over the moon with the outcome – the new site design has given them a strong foundation to build their marketing on. Most importantly, their website now communicates exactly what clients already know about them: that PHS Electronic Solutions are serious about quality, innovation and doing things properly.
