Koala North West (NW) is a provider of expert family support services based out of Birkenhead, and they recently approached us looking for a website for their new specialist sleep support services for parents. We set out to create a site that highlighted the company’s specialist sleep services while maintaining consistent with the Koala NW brand.
Koala NW has a vibrant colour scheme and a strong visual identity as a brand, which we aimed to reflect with the design. The new website aims to provide a cleaner user journey and better user experience by highlighting the benefits of taking part in training with Koala NW.
The statistics take centre stage, and are the first thing people see when the page loads. As they are also animated, they do a good job of providing at-a-glance information, as the visitor will naturally be drawn to the movement and large numbers. This is followed by a clear outline of the benefits and their offer, and also an answer to some of the most frequently asked questions. Of course, accreditations in this industry are important, so these are also featured on the homepage alongside testimonials from clients.
To reduce the chance of confusion, we’ve included simple process steps that outlines what it takes to attend a workshop and what will follow that. We have kept the friendly font from the logo as the main font of the site, and used them for both buttons and headings, making the site stand out as a friendly and welcoming one. The website features plenty of photographs and small visual elements like wavy lines and icons that fit nicely into the warm and friendly feel Koala NW aims to evoke.
In terms of features, we’ve created a website where visitors can book onto training sessions and even pay online by integrating the site with their existing Calendly calendar. We’ve also created a way for people to register and access resources, like downloadable PDF files that only members can access. This, paired with a dedicated booking form, makes it possible for existing members to access premium features straight from the website, cutting down on admin time for Koala NW considerably.
Koala NW’s new website is anything but sleep-inducing, and most importantly, highlights the amazing work their sleep professionals are doing to help families from all walks of life.
