No job is taken lightly by our web designers, but if there was ever a time for fun and games, it was here!
We were tasked with updating the Fun & Games website as the previous one did not have any visual identity to speak of. The website was bloated with placeholder content from old plugins and there were multiple unused database tables adding to the bloat.
Visually, we strived to create a fun website where people want to spend time on and browse the different competitions. Instead of sticking with a static black colour, we decided to introduce dark shades of blue and purple, which mesh really well with the tone of the prizes, their graphics and the logo itself.
The old website was also very static, with no animations or videos to speak of. The new website introduced both of these to engage visitors. Furthermore, the new website does a better job at showcasing all the positive reviews the client gathered on Facebook that is very easy to keep updated for the client and us.
We’ve incorporated parts of the logo shape into the design, which is ever-present on all the pages and competitions. Paired with an easily readable and recognisable font, the website stands out from its competitors with its unique feel and ease of use.
When it comes to the graphics and images used on the website, we’ve opted for darker images and overlays to ensure all the pages feel cohesive with their own visual identity.
Overall, the website for Fun & Games now has its own visual identity that reflects the company’s status on the games arena.
