Dream Space Staging is a home staging company founded by Lucy Allen, a former TV producer who is bringing her experience from that industry to the property sector.
An entirely fresh website build, we’ve had a lot of freedom to create an image-focused design that does a great job at showcasing the photos Lucy takes of the properties.
The colour scheme was based on the logo with blues and purples for the main buttons, but we’ve also incorporated the ripped paper design Lucy uses on her business card.
The homepage top section features a short introduction and before and after photos that show what the company is about. Scrolling down, there is a delayed animation that shows the benefits of staging a home before putting it on the market via statistics.
We wanted to nod to Lucy’s TV experience, and we’ve done so in multiple sections that use a film reel style, like the testimonial slider on the homepage and the banners on the subpages.
We’ve used the house icon from the logo as badges throughout the homepage to make the design more personal. We’ve also made sure that the images look great on all devices as these photos were provided by the client.
We’ve built a case study section where Lucy can add details and galleries of the new project she’s been working on, and these get pulled through to the homepage automatically.
In terms of written content, the language on the website is directed towards two primary target audience – individual homeowners who may need their home staged, and property developers/landlords with a portfolio of properties. Across different pages on the site, the language used caters to these two audiences.
Overall, Dream Space Staging’s website is a highly visual affair that brings a lot of attention to the company’s unique qualities in the property industry.
