Einkorn specialises in masterclasses about the world’s most underappreciated superfood: bread. Naturally, we were delighted to bake them up a new website.
The Einkorn site was built with a focus on natural elements. From the colour scheme to the fonts and graphics used, everything is focused on evoking a natural feel, underpinning the company’s commitment to showcasing bread in all of its historic glory.
We’ve achieved this feel by emphasising the main green hues and earthy tones throughout the website. Paired with the logo itself, which uses a wheat icon, this is even more apparent.
The logo of Einkorn uses a unique font that mixes well with the header font used on the site. It’s also easy to read and works well when highlighting keywords in longer sections, like the testimonials.
Simultaneously, the written content of the site was created with Einkorn’s commitment to nature in mind. Going into detail with the core principles of the company’s comprehensive courses, the language is designed to properly translate the passion Einkorn holds for bread.
To elevate the design and help with the personal connection, we’ve used real photos of the workshops and the team all throughout the site. The homepage also features subtle animations using the logo shape itself.
The website has an ecommerce focus, leveraging WooCommerce and featuring multiple unique additions built specifically for Einkorn’s needs.
The website offers different courses for specific dates that can easily be added to the website. Each date can also have its own availability, making it easier to manage off-site bookings.
Another feature is the unique gift voucher system that we’ve created for Einkorn, which lets customers book a course without a date and receive a unique code they can use to book in a specific date on the site. An added feature here is that if someone wants to purchase a gift voucher as a gift, then they can write a custom message and the email will be personalised with this.
As part of this build, we’ve also created custom email templates that send out reminders ahead of a course, as well as follow-ups that let customers leave reviews on Google. All of this serves as the recipe for a successful new website!
