As highlighted by Social Media Today, content creators mean money for social media platforms, with each company endeavouring to keep its offerings to creators enticing and worthwhile. Twitter has perhaps been one of the most prolific in churning out new offerings to creators and businesses over the past year or so, and now, it has launched a new platform that pulls these offerings together and assists creators.
Called Twitter Create, it’s a rebrand of the former Twitter Media. The social network has described it as containing the “same great content, with a brand new look”. The announcement was made at the end of May, with the platform releasing an explanatory video:
Notice anything different around here? Twitter Media is now Twitter Create. Same great content, with a brand new look. pic.twitter.com/elwXkijn3s

Essentially, the new Twitter Create platform – which is a mini website in itself – will boast insights, tips, tricks and examples that will assist content creators and indeed businesses in getting the most out of their Twitter accounts. This will apply to those who want to earn more money through the platform, boost their engagement or stand out and develop an “influential voice”.
Twitter Create is split into three different sections – Industries, Goals and Products. Within Industries, people can choose the industry that best fits them, such as podcasts and non-profits, and receive tailored advice and notes on which Twitter offerings are most suitable to use. With Goals, people can choose between relevance, monetisation and engagement and receive tips on how to achieve each. Within Products, users can learn more about how to utilise Twitter’s different offerings to creators, such as Super Follows and Twitter Spaces.
There are also case studies and plenty of other resources available.
It’s clear that Twitter cares about attracting creators to its platform, and having a dedicated hub of resources will be invaluable for those who want to maximise their Twitter presence.
