In a wonderful turn of fate, very nearly ironically in many respects, SEO terms are now climbing up the lists of the most searched for keywords.
Recent research by a marketing company showed that “Top SEO Companies” has seen a 10% increase this year (2011) alone. It is not the only example. But why is this?
In part, it will be because companies are realising that performing well in SERPs is ever more important to their success online. Therefore, this need for the best advice, professional help and relevant guidance will inevitably force the popularity of these searches up.
This is is not the only reason though. Interestingly, because search engine optimisation is so popular, it has become a an ever more competitive industry.
This means that professionals in the arena are themselves looking for the latest trends, information about algorithms and search engine update news. In turn, this fuels the rise in SEO specific searched for terms; it reeks of self fulfilling prophecies.
Another reason is the number of people going into SEO careers these days. From Liverpool to Los Angeles this is true and, with many being freelance, information is again hungrily sought and eagerly devoured.
For all companies; big, small or somewhere in between, getting their SEO campaigns right is important. As such, the popularity of related keywords is a good sign, showing that it is a sector taken seriously and attracting ever growing numbers of talent to make things better than ever before.
