    UK’s first youth police commissioner quits over Twitter row

    TripAdvisor urged to minimise negative SEO of “flawed” reviews

    A travel operator has called on popular travel website TripAdvisor to overhaul its review system, arguing many operators in the industry are being harmed by negative SEO from user comments.

    The consumer website has developed into one of the most sought out travel forums, with thousands of holidaymakers checking in there before checking in at the airport.     BBC top brand as Amazon, Google and Starbucks have a taxing time

    BBC iPlayer has topped a 2012 brands list, whilst Amazon, Google and Starbucks have dropped right down the pecking order, as the tax strife continues to hit home.

    The findings come courtesy of the YouGov BrandsIndex poll for the year. The survey, which takes the public opinion pulse of companies, took thousands of unique opinions towards the end of December.
