Google set to give direct guidance on how to improve business listings

Google Business users have noticed that the platform has begun offering an updated Insights experience for certain accounts, providing dynamic suggestions directly from Google in order to benefit and enhance their Google Business Profiles (GBP) to make them more complete.

As you might be aware, there was previously an Insights tab, however it has now been renamed “Performance” to allow for the updated, current version of the Insights tab. Previously, it’d show just data, but it now provides actionable guidance alongside this data. For example, you might see prompts such as “Get more reviews” or “Add updates to your profile” as recommendations to enhance the profile. These come with a button that leads you to the relevant place within profile settings to do so.
