Scrubbers Clean Commercial already had a website in place, which did a good job of showing that they’re a professional, reliable cleaning company. It was, however, due a good scrub.
The client felt that their design was a bit dated, and there wasn’t much in the way of visual flair or personality. They felt that it no longer reflected the Scrubbers brand, and was really for a clean-up.
We rolled up our sleeves and started by giving the site a fresh new look, using a custom font combination that’s quirky but still professional. This sets the tone for the brand and helps make Scrubbers more memorable. We also made the navigation simpler and refreshed the colour palette, making the website feel cleaner and brighter. As a result, the main buttons stand out more, simplifying the user experience as visitors will be able to find what they’re looking for and, most importantly, get in touch.
One of the most eye-catching features our team created is the animated hero section on the homepage. This includes floating bubbles that shift in size and respond to mouse movement, which is a playful nod to the cleaning industry. It adds some fun without being over the top, and gives the site a bit of interactive charm. We carried that bubble theme through the rest of the site too, adding custom animations in different sections to keep things visually consistent.
Another big improvement was the way we handled before-and-after photos. We built a custom fade animation so visitors can properly see the transformation Scrubbers delivers. Visuals like these are important for building trust, so we made them a key part of the site and gave the gallery more prominence across all service pages.
We made some big changes to the backend as well. Behind the scenes, the Scrubbers team can now update testimonials and upload videos in a matter of seconds – a huge time-saver compared to how things worked on the old site.
All in all, this redesign gave Scrubbers a website that’s brighter, easier to use and packed with personality. It reflects the quality of their work, supports their brand and gives them a proper platform to grow from.
