Google’s new AI feature provides a unique way of browsing

Google has been the front runner of search engines for decades by developing and adapting as time goes on.

However, due to the development of artificial intelligence (AI), Google’s has had to up its game like never before.

The most recent update was to allow users to search by submitting a video in Google Lens. So, if you see something in front of you, and you’re struggling to put it into a search term on Google, you can record a video of what you’re seeing, and upload it so that Google can provide you with information.

How do I use this function?

When you load up the Google app on your device, you will see a camera icon on the right-hand side of the search bar.

Once you click on this, it will open the camera, and you simply begin recording – similar to the voice command option, which can be utilised by clicking the microphone icon next to the camera one.

You can ask any questions you have about what you’re recording, so Google knows exactly what information it needs to provide you with. For example, if you see a bird, and would like to know the specific species, you simply record it and say, “What type of bird is this?” – clear enough for the camera to pick up.

Google will then process this information and give you all the information you have asked for.

This new feature provides a unique way of browsing the internet, and is yet another tool in your arsenal when it comes to collecting information for your business.
