Nick has always had a hands-on approach to web design and development. Since graduating in 2005 with a degree in Consumer Product Design, he has worked both for agencies and as a freelancer, building and modifying websites for local, national and international clients. Along the way, he has worked with some big names – including indirectly for Coca-Cola – and continues to develop websites that deliver on performance and creativity.
Juggling his skills in web development with his love of media, Nick is also an experienced broadcaster. He has worked on some of Cheshire’s biggest radio stations, including Chester’s Dee 106.3 and Macclesfield’s Silk 106.9, and now lends his voice to national names such as Virgin Radio, Absolute Radio and Greatest Hits. You could say Nick pops up all over the country – people often hear him when they’re on holiday or driving through somewhere unexpected – and until a few years ago he could even be heard on local BBC stations.
A man of many passions, Nick is a trance DJ performing at events and streaming online (catch him on Twitch!), and has a long-standing obsession with classic cars. He has also had a few brushes with stardom, from spending an afternoon at Alton Towers with TV presenter Gail Porter to performing The Twist with Chubby Checker. In a slightly more surreal moment, he and his wife Claire even featured in Hollyoaks’ “Marryoaks” stunt wedding – proof that Nick’s life is rarely dull, and he always has a story to tell in the office.
