Instagram is hosting its first specialised development program from June 8th to 10th in the US. The program will involve virtual sessions and tips aimed at creators looking to build their online careers on Facebook and Instagram.
The event has invited around 5,000 US-based creators to attend via invitation, however, Instagram will be posting content from some of the sessions on the @Creators account, including a daily recap of the event, The Rundown.
Instagram explained:
“The three-day event will include sessions like ‘How to Supercharge Your Community’, ‘Media Training 101, ‘How to Break Into Entertainment’, ‘How to Start a Podcast’. ‘How to Get Discovered on Instagram’, and ‘Fund My Merch Line’, in which creators will be able to pitch their dream product idea to a panel of judges.”
While the Creator Week is only available to US creators at the moment, Instagram has already announced plans to expand the programs for European markets as well.
