Engage Web announces fundraising figures for Hospice of the Good Shepherd

Ellesmere Port, UK, August 30th: Engage Web, a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency based in Ellesmere Port, has helped to raise an impressive £3,442 for the remarkable charity Hospice of the Good Shepherd this year.

As a longstanding ambassador for the Hospice, the figure that Engage Web has helped to raise stands closer to £6,000 (£5,942 in total) since the start of their working relationship together.

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd was opened in 1989 by HRH Princess Diana, and has strived to benefit its local community through its vital services ever since. By providing essential palliative care to those in need, while supporting their families and loved ones, the Hospice has been renowned as a place of warmth and comfort in a time when it is most needed.

Speaking about Engage Web’s support, Alan Knell, Philanthropy and Relationships manager at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, said:

“Engage Web has been fantastic in helping us raise money to support the Hospice’s work. The team members are great sports, and never shy away from getting stuck in with events – no matter how “out there” they might be!”

As well as being the headline sponsor for the 100 Club, the Hospice’s business networking group, for the second year running, Engage Web regularly participates in fundraising events to help raise awareness and all-important donations towards the cause.

Along with designing a new website for the Hospice, Engage Web manned a paint station for this year’s Foamtastic Colour Run, which took place at Chester Racecourse. Two members of the digital marketing agency also volunteered for the Hospice’s Pantomime Horse Race at the racecourse this month, which saw them competing against other businesses in a 100m sprint, with all contenders dressed as pantomime animals. The event was a huge success, with over £40,000 for the Hospice being raised.
