Myself, I am a person that believes very much in giving a client or potential client as much information as possible during a conversation – sometimes to my teammates dismay.
However, if a business knows enough about the potential products that they are going to buy then they are making a decision, rather than having to be sold to. There are always rogue businesses out there that will steal the ideas that you give – and in 99% of cases they start and fail miserably at what I mentioned to them.
But generally, my own way of speaking with potential clients and clients is to give them as much from my own head as I possibly can so that they can then use that information to work with us and also build things themselves from ‘their end’.
To me, this combination of two parties both working to the same goal is the perfect scenario for a client/supplier relationship.
So if you want your own business to be a success – or you are a potential client of Stuck On, listen – and give – as much information as possible – it makes us all more successful 🙂
