More businesses in the UK are set to benefit from Google Business Photos, with the service being launched in Brighton and Hove on 21st June. A number of businesses are providing the opportunity for customers many miles away to view shops, restaurants and more from the comfort of their own homes.
Google Business Photos launched in 2011, with London being the first UK city to receive the service. As businesses apply for the service, Google will launch the photo service in more areas of the UK. The service lets a company provide a 360 degree virtual tour for customers and prospective customers. A person can now view the interior of a restaurant before booking a meal there, so he can decide whether the restaurant will offer the ambience required for the occasion. The Google Business Photos service may have an affect on a company’s SEO campaign, as it will become crucial to present the very best image to the world.
In Brighton and Hove, a number of shops and restaurants have signed up to the service. The director of Rose Hill Boutique, Misha Bridemrhane said:
“We thought it was a good idea because Google is the most-used search engine. Kensington Gardens isn’t on Street View, so it’s nice for people to be able to see the shop.”
Two local photographers have been approved by Google to take the photos for Google Business Photos in Brighton and Hove. The service will soon be introduced to other cities like Liverpool or Manchester.
