The IT Guys did not want a conventional, run-of-the-mill IT support website. Having experience in designing websites, they knew what a boring, personality-ridden site would look like, and had no interest in having one of their own.
To achieve a modern feel with tons of personality, the site was designed with a colour scheme consisting of purples, blues and pinks. The use of gradients and shadows with elements overlapping each other help to create a semi-3D effect, allowing the different sections of the site to flow naturally from one to another. A custom cog animation on the home page that clearly relates to the what The IT Guys do makes for a spectacular centrepiece of the entire website.
From a content perspective, the primary aim for the home page of the site was to ensure that users would have all of their necessary questions answered by the time they reached the contact form at the bottom on the page. Furthermore, it was crucial that the language used was suitable for both the older target audience that are not particularly tech-savvy, as well as professionals that are more likely to use The IT Guys due to a tight schedule.
All in all, the new website is vibrant and bursting with personality, matching the intended aesthetic that many websites in the field of IT support are unable to achieve.
