Shane Moore Designs

As a maker of luxurious wedding dresses designed and manufactured in North Wales, Shane Moore Designs was looking for a website that got across the message of it being an established business with decades of history behind it. Primarily, the aim was to demonstrate to potential stockists that this was an authentic designer that could be relied upon, while at the same time showcasing the quality of the range to brides.

We rewrote the majority of the content on the site to highlight the company’s unique selling points – such as the local and in-house design and manufacturing process, the use of luxury-feel fabrics and the availability of eco-friendly options. We also rewrote the product descriptions for an entire collection, using more professional and persuasive language to highlight the items’ qualities.

Design-wise, we emphasised the visual elements of the site, including the use of translucent text boxes to avoid obscuring the imagery with copy. The idea was to use a striking Shane Moore design as the main focus of the page and use it to encourage scrolling down to see more of the dress, and therefore more of the content. A standard neutral look and colour scheme of wedding marketing was applied, while subtly including the branding colours.

The result is a stylish, easy-to-use website, befitting the collection and clearly indicating where both interested stockists and customers should head to if they like what they see.
