As a high-quality private personal training service, Elysium Health and Fitness wanted a new website that oozes the same professionalism that is offered to all of its clients who choose them to improve their fitness. Building on elements of their old site, the result is a sleek website that highlights everything that Elysium is all about.
Design wise, the home page of the site uses both videos and images from Elysium’s two bespoke training studios to take users on a visual journey through their unique approach to personal training. The main banner of the site features a video background from a promotional video showcasing the work of Elysium’s personal trainers and some of the company’s clients, encouraging users to be inspired by some of the people and actions that they see.
The main goal of the website’s content was to fill the middle ground between ultimate professionalism and personability. As well as bringing full attention to the main qualities of Elysium’s private personal training packages, the calls-to-action, particularly on the home page, add a more personal touch. Furthermore, it was crucial to promote both of Elysium’s Premium and Flexible training packages without detracting from either package in any particular way. This is done by expressing how the different packages can benefit different members of the target audience, instead of comparing the packages to each other.
Overall, Elysium’s new site builds upon the positive aspects that were existent from their former website, improves other areas to bring the site more in line with the company’s principles and creates a more modern feel that make it easier to relate to the target audience.
