With blinds being a simple yet highly effective way to enhance the appearance of a room, we wanted to translate that into the new design for Carlton Blinds’ website.
Looking at the clean and satisfying movement of venetian blinds, we brought that into the home page as an animation. To encourage user interaction, we also added a button to make the blinds open and close, which can get quite addictive! We chose the shade of green carefully, as this was specifically requested by the client.
Location was a big factor for Carlton Blinds, who wanted to emphasise that they have a rep available in all areas they cover, and that you could get to know the rep. Locations like Llandudno, Wrexham, Chester and Crewe are given their own landing page-style pages – this is both for search engine optimisation reasons and to show that the client has experience and an understanding of the areas, as well as what homeowners from these places are likely to want.
It’s blindingly obvious that this is a site to be reckoned with, highlighting the quality of the British-made blinds they supply and install, as well as the friendly and personal service.
