Tom and Jo at 127 Solutions approached Engage Web for a brand-new website design.
127 Solutions had invested in a new website not too long before approaching Engage Web, but upon a discovery call with us, it was discovered that the previous designer had left the website no-indexed – meaning people couldn’t search for it in Google. Engage Web was subsequently tasked with creating an all-new site.
As the old site lacked imagery, employing visual elements and photography was key for the new design. We introduced multiple images of the team and the premises to create a better personal connection between site visitors and 127.
Showing the main services and dividing the site according to those was also requested by the client. To accommodate this, we introduced an eye-catching slider on the homepage and animated sections dedicated to each service.
The colours used on the site were taken from the logo. The logo features four colours: green, blue, orange and red. We’ve opted to use green and blue, as the other colours are less associated with tech – and when they are, they usually mean warnings and errors, which would come across poorly for potential clients. The font used on the site was also picked to work well with the topic and be clear, easy to read and modern.
For the content, it was important that a trustworthy image was conveyed, as companies need to trust 127 with their personal data. In addition, jargon was to be avoided unless absolutely essential, and in this case, it was to be explained to avoid alienating potential customers.
The end result is a friendly yet professional website that shows what 127 Solutions can offer, adding a personal touch.
