A third generation, family-run manufacturer, Steely Products has enjoyed growth and success without the internet. A website existed, but had never provided leads or referrals, and didn’t work on a mobile device. Wishing to expand into new areas and attract new business, Steely Products had a unique challenge – stakeholders were reluctant to give away trade secrets by showing all their wares on a website and so the existing website was small with a significant lack of information.

Engage Web worked with the team at Steely Products to determine the right approach for each segment of their business. Each area works slightly differently, some led by specific products and others led by customer requirements, as Steely Products can design and manufacture according to the customer’s requirements.

To really demonstrate Steely Products’ unique selling point, Engage Web’s photographer visited the factory to take inhouse photos of some of the products and the Steely Products team in action, without giving away trade secrets. Our copywriting service was also employed to speed up the process. Enquiries from each section of the site are sent to the appropriate department within Steely Products for an efficient response.
