Content is a relatively new idea in the field of SEO, so much so that a great many SEO companies have yet to embrace it or even understand it. Content is very simple, the more you update your website the more you’ll be spidered, the more relevant information you add the better you’ll rank for terms related to your industry.
Yet the leading lights in SEO in the UK just don’t understand it. They’re unprepared to move on and insist on sticking with the same well-used ideas. Sure, some of these ideas work, but some of them don’t.
For example, if you speak to some UK-based SEO companies and ask them what they’ll do for your website you’ll probably hear them talk about buying links for your site. This is not only frowned upon by Google, they even have a section in their ‘Webmaster Tools’ area for you to report websites buying and selling links.
Many SEO companies will also keyword-stuff your front page with badly written text that is ‘just for Google’. It makes little sense and adds nothing to the value of your website. This is where our content differs. We write content for people, not for Google… but that’s just what Google wants.
Don’t make-do with old techniques from SEO companies who refuse to move with the times, stay ahead of the game.
