LinkedIn’s latest update to the platform sees the introduction of new features to enable you to enhance brand visibility, audience engagement and hiring efficiency.
Most of the new functions relate to business pages, while one useful tweak seemingly takes inspiration from the social audio app Clubhouse.
Update to scheduled posts
One of the new features is an update to the scheduled post section of business pages. Now, you are able to schedule posts up to three months in advance. This new feature is currently only available on Desktop but is going to be released to mobile soon.
Audio events
Another feature enables you to have live, audio-only discussions without having to use external broadcasting platforms. This feature seems to be like Clubhouse and can be used to help increase your authority in your industry and enable you to grow your LinkedIn network.
Automatic job posting
If your business has fewer than 1,000 employees, the automatic job posting feature will enable LinkedIn to post onto your Business Page automatically every day as a pre-scheduled post. If you want to edit the post after it has been published, you can also do this.
Follow other pages as your business page
You can now follow other business pages from your own business page, which makes it easier for you to join chat related to your industry. It will also mean you see a dedicated feed related to your sector.
