As devices such as the iPhone have come and improved the market with excellent web browsers, the need to create separate mobile versions of a site has decreased.
Indeed, this article has been written entirely on an iPhone with virtually no difference from using a full-sized computer. The gap is getting closer meaning that the need for specific mobile content is greatly reduced.
However, the greater use of mobiles means that your content should be more interesting, bite-sized, and frequent than perhaps it has been in the past.
