To be successful in the search engines, we have given plenty of advice on how to write good quality content that will attract both traffic and links and help you to rank in the SERPs, however, depending how competitive your subject matter may be, you might find that the post you really want to rank isn’t quite ranking yet.
A good way to either cement the high rankings of your successful content or to rank higher for competitive terms is to write a follow up article and link back to the original article. This gives the original piece of content an additional boost.
By thinking about your content rather than just churning it out, you can really gain the benefits of using content and articles correctly.
