Engage Web unveils Pressroom, a new content and social media integrated service

Cheshire and Wirral, 15th March 2013: Search engine optimisation experts and Morgan Foundation Best New Business 2012 award finalist, Engage Web, has lifted the lid on Pressroom, its brand new content service.

The company is the brainchild of Lianne Wilkinson and Darren Jamieson, two online marketing experts who set up Engage Web to help businesses promote themselves on the internet in the most ethical way possible. The company numbers high profile global brands among its clients, along with a growing list of those based in the North West and around the UK.

Pressroom offers a high quality service of content crafted specifically for its clientele, maximising its impact with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest, and uses this content as a launchpad to

interact with existing and potential customers, increasing the number of return visits and building the client’s brand and online authority in the process.

Pressroom

Engage Web has a solid track record in producing tailored content thanks to its vast team of writers, with 100 alone in the UK and another 50 across other English speaking countries, including Canada, Australia and the US. All the content they produce is proofread by journalist-trained editors before publication. Pressroom offers great flexibility too. It doesn’t limit the choice to news or blogs; businesses may want an indepth feature, eye-catching infographic or a professionally produced YouTube video with a chance of going viral.

As Lianne explained, flexibility is the watchword. She said:

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer Pressroom – it’s a natural progression for us, and sets itself apart due to its sheer adaptability.

“As well an indepth analysis of website performance and social network traffic, it offers a way to fine tune your content.

“First, you agree to a set number of Pressroom units each month; these can be spent any way you like. For example, 20 units could be spent on five news articles, two features and an infographic. The next month, you may wish to spend them on 10 news pieces and a video.”

Pressroom doesn’t stop at content. Engage Web can also create and operate social media accounts on behalf of the client, promote the content and interact with any followers, or assist with in-house social media policies.

Pressroom was developed in 2012 and soft launched with GS1, the world’s leading barcode standards organisation, helping organisations worldwide to improve their supply chain efficiency.
