Duplicated content tackled by Google

In an attempt to reduce the amount of spam and websites with content copied from other websites, Google have made updates to the search algorithms. In recent months, it has become evident that the amount of spam has increased, resulting in a need to take a stand against those that continue to rely on copied content for their websites. According to Matt Cutts, webmaster guideline enforcer for Google, the websites that have very little original content will be omitted from the search results.

This move by Google will result in the people who are searching for information, finding the original website which has initially provided the web content, rather than a fake website. This forms part of an initiative which Google have implemented this year, in order to improve quality of results for searchers.

Writing original and fresh content on a regular basis can prove difficult for anyone who has a poor grasp of the English language, or doesn’t have the necessary skills in English grammar. It is now recognised that the regular submission of web content can play a valuable role in Search Engine Optimisation, improving your search engine rankings. Cost can be a factor to consider when you are looking to outsource content writing, but choosing a reputable company who will provide fresh, original material on a regular basis which is error free, will maximise your revenue.

Content outsourcing will ensure that you have original content available when you most need it, without incurring the wrath of Google or other search engines.
