Big companies think small

One of the common denominators that I have found with successful websites is something that I call ‘bedroom mentality’.

What I mean by this is that these companies see the worth in not just resting on their brand name to deliver the goods online.  Too many companies make this mistake.  The successful ones work as though they had just started the business and were working from a bedroom, as hard as possible, trying to strive to get to the level where they can afford an office.

Does your company have a bedroom mentality when it comes to the web?  Do you expect people just to come and find you?
