What has the UK searched for in 2019?

Delivery tracking feature to be part of Google Search

Google is set to allow customers to track packages in the same way as major couriers do, and is inviting interested shipping firms to express their interest in the programme.

Another politician suffers for slow domain registration

Last week, we looked at the stunt pulled by anti-Brexit campaign group Led By Donkeys, who purchased www.thebrexitparty.com and used it to lampoon Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage. It looks unlikely that Farage will pay the asking price for the domain requested by the group, which now stands at over £1.6m.

Over 75% use Google Maps for local business information

A consumer survey has revealed that Google Maps is by far the most popular entry point when it comes to searching for local businesses.

According to a Brandify study, 77% of users turn to Google Maps to learn about businesses near them, which is way above the closest competitors Facebook (38%) and Yelp (35%), and even further ahead of (more…)
