Reputation Management advice from StuckOn in .Net

Written by Carl Hopkinson

If you’re interested in protecting your brand online, then you’ll be interested in reputation management, sometimes referred to as ‘online reputation management’. This practise allows you to keep tabs on what is being said about you on the Internet, what negative comments emerge and, most importantly, how to deal with them in a painless, clinical manner.

In the current issue of .Net Magazine, StuckOn’s Darren Jamieson offers advice on managing your reputation online, and what steps you can take to ensure the first page of Google’s results for your brand or name are all positive ones.

Take heed though, as there are some basic mistakes you can make when trying to protect your reputation online – and these mistakes will only make matters worse! For example, if you engage in commenting on reviews websites and forums in an attempt to improve your brand’s reputation, all you’ll really be doing is helping to hammer those nails into your own coffin.
